From enquiry to dispatch: how a marble order comes together
Natural marble is chosen lot by lot, so an order is a short conversation rather than a checkout. The four steps we follow, from your first brief to packing and shipping documentation.

Natural marble is not ordered like a catalogue product. Every block differs in colour and movement, and the material in the yard changes as lots are cut and sold. So an order with SAV Stonex comes together as a short conversation that narrows the choice, step by step.
Our Marble Collection sets out four steps from enquiry to dispatch. Whether you are a distributor building a selection for your market or a project buyer working from drawings, the path is the same.
01. Share the brief
Tell us the collection, dimensions, thickness, finish, quantity and delivery destination. Distributors usually begin with preferred collections, formats and quantities; project buyers with drawings, quantities and application details. Either is a good place to start.
If you are unsure what to include, our guide on how to specify marble walks through each point.
02. Review the selection
We share current lot photographs and samples, so you see the actual material. Each photograph carries a reference code, such as WC-02 for a lot of White Cloudy, which keeps the conversation precise while you shortlist and compare.
Photographs show the range and movement across a large face; samples let you judge colour and finish in your hand, under your own light. Our article on reading lot photographs and samples goes further.
03. Confirm the quotation
Once the selection is settled, the quotation sets out the agreed specification, the price basis, the lead time and the payment terms. Read them together: the specification fixes what will be supplied, and the price basis makes clear what the quoted price covers.
04. Define packing and dispatch
Before the material leaves, we agree packing, labelling, inspection and shipping documentation. Settling these in advance means the consignment is prepared the way your site or warehouse expects, with the paperwork your destination requires.
For Ambaji White, ask about origin documentation for the selected material: Ambaji White Marble is a registered geographical indication.
