Marble Blocks

Selected at the quarry face

Where every other form begins. Blocks are read for veining, tone and grain before any saw runs, and supplied to processors who want to open the stone on their own line.

What it is

A block is the stone as the quarry gives it: a squared mass cut from the face, before it is opened into slabs or tiles.

Buying in block puts the cut, the thickness and the finish in the hands of your own line. Agate Grey and Harkishan Panther are quarried and produced by SAV Stonex. Ambaji White Marble is a registered geographical indication: ask about origin documentation for the selected material.
